Alix is a British/Swiss Director and Creative Producer - she has a big passion for practical creature effects, lethal sound design & killer soundtracks.

 

She was the recipient of the 2023 Raimi Productions scholarship for Rogue Studios EmpowHER filmmaking course and has worked as a film consultant for the BFI Future Film Academy and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

She previously co-created and produced horror short RETCH, which screened globally, including the London Short Film Festival, Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and won Best Horror Short at Cinefantasy Film Festival in Brazil.

 

Other genre experience includes 2nd Unit directing  Marcus Harben's FOLLOWERS (2021) and being the Director of crime thriller short TRUE VALUE, which was funded by the Bruce Millar Fellowship Award, starring Red Madrell (Kidulthood), touring festivals such as Underwire, LIFF and BFI's Women of the World Festival.
